This isn’t my gif, but I would like to use it to share the story of the boy in it. This is my friend Jamey. One year ago to the day, he committed suicide because he was being bullied relentlessly in school. There is not a day that goes by where I don’t think of him. I often find myself wondering how different things could have turned out of I had been able to help him. Jamey never showed his emotions when it came to the bullying. Everyday I wish he had, maybe I could have helped him, and been there for him. I walk the halls at my school, wondering how many other kids feel like Jamey did. The thought honestly scares me. Please think before you speak, you never know how much your words could hurt someone. And if you ever want to hurt yourself, or just need to talk, my ask is always open.
